The creation of invitation is a critical process. IF there is a mistake in the documents then the guest may loss the right to visit the Shengen in the next 5 years. Step 1) Guest should send you info: a) date of visit (Arrival: .. Departure: ..) b) passport data c) which hotel to book if format: "5 nights, 17.05 -> 18.05, 18.05 -> .. " (if ignore this requirement then mistakes occur in hotel booking and you should start from Step 1 again) Step 2) Book the hotel for the guest. Get original booking (it's a requirement of the consulate) Step 3) then you generate the invitation a) Examples of invitations: b) Check the requirements of the consulate: Step 4) then send the scanned copy to the guest. (if there are mistakes then you can fix the problems. Else you should spend the money again and repeat the process again in 2 weeks starting from Step 1) Step 5) Send the documents by DHL or other quick service which passes the docs to the hands of the guest. Never send documents by simple mail (50% of envelopes are travelling during 1 month) List of docs: * invitation (1 copy) * hotel booking (1 copy) NL->St.Petersburg, 2008/10: 3 weeks DE->St.Petersburg, 2007 or 2006: 3-4 weeks? ------ Q: I find the text kind of confusing/misleading, which may lead to problems that we certainly should avoid.
