Frage an Hansi: Ich besitze auch das Board von Asrock (AM2NF3-VSTA)Eine Installation von eCS 1.2. r als auch 2.0 sind bisher fehlgeschlagen.Hast du einige Tipps f.r mich ?

Onboard-LAN does work with nveth driver 0.0.4 (hobbes). ACPI works also at least with W4/UNI-kernel. In the meantime I would rate the board as good.

Installation of ecs 2.0 rc4 was fine. Onboard LAN was not detected automatically. SMP does not run yet.

SMP runs with ACPI version 3.(0)7

with /SMP /APIC /TMR /CD on rc4.

with a fresh install ecs 2.0 rc4

smp /acpi work wih version 3.05

only one thing i chance place off the inboard sound card, i place my sblive 5.1 with uni 14rc5

work with 4 gig memory and a amd 6400 x2

Did anyone get sound working?

Hansi added:

SMP works again with version 3.13. There was no booting with SMP possible

with versions 3.09-3.11. But sound loops, that stop when the sound object

is opened.

eCS2.0rc5 All drivers (Uniaud, USB, Dani) latest version

No legacy hardware exept PS/2 keyboard

Don't install BIOS v. 2.60. With this version it is not possible to boot from eCS installation CD. I just switched back to 2.50 and it works again.

Runs fine with new ACPI 19.15
