OS/2: real-time or wait for completed?

What method of OS/2 development is better:

  • real-time show, when the system is developed in open mode: every week you get news and alpha-versions of modules / components.
  • or hidden development, when full completed version will be released at D-day. (Alpha versions are not available for public, ..)

Both approaches have advantages and disadvantages. Selected method of development is very critical. and there are two variants only: success or fail.
