TechRepublic has recently published an article about how to use PMVNC under OS/2 to remotely control Windows 2000 servers.

"With programs like PMVNC, you can not only keep your OS/2 workstation running, but you can keep it relevant by giving it the ability to remotely access and control Windows servers. PMVNC may not be perfect, but it's a useful utility that every OS/2 support tech should have."

Reservation of communication channel

Roman Popov shows methods of reservation on example of two networks linked by allocated channel. Both networks contain servers which must echange data (different organizations own this networks). The requirement: in case of damage restore connection by dial-up and break this temporal connection after damage removal.
